Welcome to the cover reveal for
BEAST by Alana Albertson

Title: Beast
Author: Alana Albertson
Series: Heroes Ever After, #1
Publication Date: March 22, 2016
Genre: Contemporary Romance, New Adult

Wanted: Beautiful woman to be the mistress of my manor. Must be single. No sex required, dynamic conversation imperative. Salary $100,000 for a one-month contract.
A viral post. Thousands of women applied—including me. I told myself I was crazy, but the money could pay for my father’s medical treatments and save his life.
A month later, I received the call.
I’d been chosen.
A man with a mask greeted me, and though he filled my days with a library full of books, and dressed me in the finest clothes, he never shed his cover nor touched me intimately, despite my growing hunger for him.
He was equal parts Iron Man, Phantom of the Opera, and Beauty’s Beast. But he wasn’t a superhero, the tragic villain of a novel turned musical, or the cursed creature of a fairy tale.
This former Marine was trapped in his own nightmare—demons from the war he had fought in haunted his thoughts, scars from the bomb he jumped on marked his skin.
True love could free him from his self-imposed prison, but he’d have to let me in. Opening the door to his cabin was the easy part, but the real test would be allowing me into his heart.
Otherwise, he would always remain a beast.

EXCERPT
Chapter One—Isa

I stared at my phone, rereading a post from Reddit that had gone viral.

Wanted: Beautiful woman to be the mistress of my manor. Must be single. No sex required, dynamic conversation imperative. Salary $100,000 for a one-month contract.

The opportunity of a lifetime. Thousands of women had applied, the world was anxious to learn the identity of the man the press had hailed as “the dark bachelor.”

Though I’d never purchased a lottery ticket, nor did I believe in get-rich-quick schemes, I hastily filled out the application, never thinking for a second that I had a chance. The process had been easy enough—agree to submit to a background check if chosen, send a picture, and write an essay (100 words or less) answering the question, “What I’d do with the $100,000.”

Well, that was easy. My words poured onto the page.

I would pay off my father’s medical bills, and provide him with the best care. He has brain cancer, and insurance hasn’t covered all of his treatments. I dropped out of college and work three jobs to support him. I would like to spend more quality time with him before he passes. My father is proud, independent man, a Marine who served Vietnam, and he hates to be a burden. He has dedicated his life to me, and I’m happy to take care of him during his final years. I would be forever grateful to you for this opportunity.

I attached a picture of me wearing a loose-fitting grey T-shirt, jean shorts, and flip-flops. For makeup, I had only used a tinted moisturizer, purple eyeliner to accentuate my green eyes, mascara, and nude lipstick. My black hair hung like a shower curtain around my face. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t sending a provocative image to this man. Though I strongly doubted whoever he was only wanted a platonic companion, I was positive hundreds of girls would send in bikini shots, or nude selfies, so if that was what that guy was looking for, then he’d have plenty of options. I figured the chances of me being chosen were so slim, it was worth the risk to apply.

What kind of man posted an ad like this? He could’ve been a serial killer, or some psycho. One newspaper swore he was a famous tech billionaire, another speculated that he was a deformed recluse.

I didn’t put much thought into it—until I received the call from a blocked number.

“Hello?” I answered my cell late one night.

“May I speak to Isa?” A man with a deep, sexy voice asked.

I had a heavy feeling in the pit of my stomach. “This is Isa.”

“This is the man who posted the ad.”

Dios mío! Was this a joke? “Uhm hi. What’s your name?”

He laughed, a gruff, sexy laugh. He sounded younger than I’d thought he’d be. I had assumed he was an older gentleman when I read the ad. “You can call me Bruce.”

The way he said Bruce made me certain it wasn’t his name. “Okay, Bruce. Am I a finalist or something? Why are you calling me?”

“I wanted to hear your voice.” He paused, and exhaled. “Is your dad going to be okay if I pick you? Does he have someone else to step in to take care of him?”

I didn’t even know this guy and he seemed to care more about what happened to my father than my own friends did. “Honestly, no. I didn’t think I’d be chosen so I never really considered what I’d do.” I felt so stupid. I should’ve never applied. I would have to quit my jobs, find somewhere for my father to go, and someone to attend to him. “I’m sorry to waste your time. I applied on a whim. I heard that thousands of girls applied. Why me? I mean, I could really use the money, but—” I swallowed a sob. Was he really about to pick me, was I about to throw away this amazing opportunity so that once in my life I wouldn’t have to struggle?

“Hey, look. I liked your essay—and your picture. As for why I chose you, let’s just say you stood out to me. If you really want to do this, I can arrange to have someone take care of your father.”

Was he for real? “Are you serious? Who are you? Why are you doing this? You sound really nice, I’m sure you can find someone to hang out with you for free.”

“I have my reasons. So is that a yes?”

My hands shook. Was this really happening to me? “I don’t know. I mean, I’m not going to sleep with you, if that’s what you’re after. I don’t know anything about you; you could be an axe murder. I feel naïve even talking about this.”

“I’m not expecting sex in return. And though I’m not going to tell you my real name, the Washoe County Sheriff knows who I am and you are welcome to verify with them that I have no criminal record. If you agree to meet me, I promise to show you a good time and keep you safe. I’d like to get to know you. So what do you say?”

I couldn’t believe he was serious. And why wouldn’t he tell me his real name? Was he famous? Notorious? “Can I think about it?”

“No. I need a decision. What’s it going be?”

My heart raced. I was now completely intrigued; yet simultaneously scared to death. He promised to take care of my father, and I desperately needed this money. My breath hitched. “I’m in.”

Blog Tour | Review: MY SENIOR YEAR OF AWESOME by Jennifer DiGiovanni + Giveaway + Excerpt

February 29, 2016, 0 Comments | Comentarios

Hello! Welcome to our Tour Stop for
My Senior Year of Awesome by Jennifer DiGiovanni
presented by Swoon Romance!

Title: My Senior Year of Awesome
Author: Jennifer DiGiovanni
Publication Date: March 1, 2016
Publisher: Swoon Romance
SYNOPSIS
A girl desperately tries to avoid the boy she was voted most likely to marry by her senior classmates. To prove senior superlative votes are meaningless, she and her best friend create their own list of awesome high school achievements to be completed by graduation.

EXCERPT

Ten Things I Completely Despise (okay, strongly dislike) about Andy Kosolowski

1. He thinks it’s hilarious to whack defenseless young women with snowballs.

2. He’s way too tall. It’s disturbing.

3. His mission in life is to humiliate me. I still think he paid someone to fix the Senior Superlative vote.

4. And then after he humiliates me, he does something really nice like buying me two éclairs and a chai, knowing I can’t possibly stay mad at him.

5. He’s smarter than me. Okay, he’s smarter than just about everyone in the universe, so this should not make me mad. But it does. And, rumor has it, he could skip school for the rest of the year and still be a lock for valedictorian.

6. He can drive.

7. He has his own car.

8. His parents probably trust him and don’t ask him to leave notes whenever he goes out. I can’t even walk into town alone. Hello, Mother! I’m almost eighteen.

9. He doesn’t get mad. About anything. Ever.

10. He’s a hair hypocrite. He tried to fix my hair after he totally wrecked it with his snowball, yet his hair always looks like he just finished wrestling a snow blower. And the snow blower won.

REVIEW
** I received an ARC copy in exchange of an honest review **

My Senior Year of Awesome is a Young Adult Contemporary Romance with hilarious, and lovely moments. A book that can catch you from the begging to the end. It’s written by Jennifer DiGiovanni and it’s going to be released tomorrow! By the way, I’m thankful for had the chance to read it before it comes out. Also, as you can see, the synopsis/blurb is short but it can tell you a lot —not in a bad way.

Anyway, all this start with Sadie, the protagonist, trying to understand why she was voted as most likely to get marry with a boy she doesn’t even like, at all —or that’s what she thinks.

I want to die. No, I want to puke. I want to puke and then die. Andy, the biggest nerd in all of seniordom? The boy who wore the same Darth Vader T-shirt every day of eighth grade? The guy who passed out at middle school graduation and was trampled on by the rest of our class?
However, while she tries to avoid him and the entire superlative votes thing, Sadie and her best friend complete a book that —according to me— you can fill with the oddest things ever, or just with totally random facts about someone or something.

“So, what did you come up with for your future son’s name?” she asks.
“Chase.”
Jana’s eyes grow wide. “Chase? That’s a verb, not a name.”
“It’s also a noun, meaning pursuit.”
“Okay, Chase it is.” Jana carefully scribes my top boy’s name in the book. “Does Andy agree with your choice?”
Senior year is —maybe— the most important year in high school, is when you have to make a decision that can change your future, is the last chance you have to interact with those you've never talk before, or it just can be the last chance to have a high school love.

These random lists take Sadie and Jana to do, make and try a lot of new things before their senior year ends. Along with this, Sadie has the chance to work with Dom, the guy she’s secretly been crushing on for years. But what happens when you realized the boy you’ve been dreaming with is not what you thought? Nothing bad but funny moments, or at least that happens to her. Also, I loved Andy’s character, he’s smart, gorgeous, an a completely hot mess. During all my reading I was always wanting to read more of him.

Andy and Sadie’s love story, how they realized their love for the other, their hilarious moments, and the serious, too. All this and so much more, make this book one you must read —not should, must— it's full with a lot of moments that can make you smile without notice. And Jennifer's writing is a big plus to this combination.

Do you like when a good story makes you feel different sensations? You have to try this one. Do you like Young Adult romance? Let's try this. Do you like to read about a hot mess boy? Andy —yep, with just his name I tell you all. Anyway, this book is a really great way to make a debut novel, so my congratulations to Jennifer.

Book: +4.5

I was given and ebook ARC of slumber by christy Sloat.  And in return I would post an Honest review of her work. So here it is.

Expert:

Not all princesses get their happily ever after...

They tell me I killed my boyfriend Phillip in cold blood. I stabbed him twenty one times. I’m only seventeen years old, and I am serving life in Spindle Ridge Asylum for the Criminally Insane.
I don’t remember killing him, so it’s really hard to believe I’m capable of murder. In fact I don’t remember anything before I came to Spindle Ridge, not even my boyfriend.
I can only grasp onto my realistic dreams while the madness of the asylum threatens to pull me under. I dream I’m a beautiful princess and there is an evil faerie named Maleficent who is bent on my destruction. The dreams are the closest thing I have to memories of my life, except they aren’t real.
I’m crazy. I’m not a princess.
They’re the mad illusions of an irrational teenage girl, right?
They’ve assigned me a new doctor, and she says I can trust her, and that she’ll help me see the truth of who I really am.
When she arrived she brought a new patient, Sawyer, who is everything Spindle Ridge isn’t: exciting, mysterious and beautiful. He promises he’s here to rescue me. Trusting either of them frightens me.
Could it be possible that my dreams are more than just the imaginings of a delusional girl? Could they be truth?

REVIEW: Slumber is an creative rewrite of sleeping beauty. At first I wasn't drawn into the story. But when I continued to read I couldn't put it down. The characters are so original that you forget it's based on sleeping beauty.  My favorite character hands down has to be Sawyer. That being said I would buy this book and also read it's sequel. Also the cover is beautiful and is what made me want to read this novel.

EXCERPT

“Why are you so upset?”

“I'm angry because you keep denying me when it's clear you want me. To top it off, you come to my club and dance with countless men right in front of me,” Ethan growled.

He ran his nose down my neck before licking away a bead of sweat. I gasped. The hand that he had moved to my waist slipped underneath my top. He caressed my belly before running his fingers further down, making every ounce of me come to a dull ache. Against my will, my body moved in ways to encourage him to travel further south to take full advantage of me. Ethan's hands settled along my waistline, lazily trailing his fingers along it. My mind screamed one last time that this was not an option for me. In a last-ditch attempt, I paused his hands so he wouldn't go any further. Ethan whipped me around to face him. The passion in his eyes was unmistakable.

“I'm trying to do the right thing,” I moaned.

His hands drifted underneath my shirt and up my sides on their way north this time. As he progressed along my rib cage to the lower line of my bra, he moved us off the dance floor. Ethan pushed me up against a pillar at the far end of it. He brought his body right into mine. He tossed in an occasional thrust of the hips as he pinned me, just to remind me how very well he knew my body. Ethan cupped my breast with tender strokes of his hand before pressing his lips on a spot underneath my ear lobe. It was enough to melt every part of me. I was throbbing all over for him.

“You want me. I want you. I don't care what's right or wrong,” Ethan hissed.

I tilted my neck as he trailed deep kisses down my collarbone and exposed shoulder. I wanted him so much that it was close to making me burst. I moaned even louder when his teeth grazed the crook of my shoulder. He sucked along my neck with eagerness, making no effort to hold back his want for me. I slanted my head to bring my lips vigorously down on his. My tongue drifted across the top of his mouth before his tongue met mine where they danced to the beat with the music around us. My hands moved down to his hips as he pumped against me. I slid them even further down to his ass. Ethan responded by grinding harder and grabbing one of my legs to raise it around his hip.

Our bodies melded together in an erotic dance as our mouths devoured each other. I lost myself in the music, in his lips, in his body, in his hands, and in the desires he brought out in me. His hands ran up and down my body while his lips and hips brought me to the point of no return – I ached for him.

Blog Tour | Review: HOW WILLA GOT HER GROOVE BACK by Emily McKay + Giveaway

February 25, 2016, 0 Comments | Comentarios

Title: How Willa Got Her Groove Back
Author: Emily McKay
Genre: Young Adult, Contemporary Romance
Series: Creative HeArts #2, companion series | Willa and Finn Book 1 of 3
Publication: February 25th, 2016

When your life feels like a bad movie, rewrite the script.
When Willa Schofer’s father comes home from a business trip with an über-famous new fiancée, Willa’s senior year blows up in paparazzi-fueled flames. Overnight, she has a new house, a new car, and a new soon-to-be stepbrother—the unbelievably hot, unbelievably arrogant, Finn McCain. Thank god he’s constantly pushing her buttons, or she might do something irresponsible. Like fall for the jerk.
Just when Willa’s decided to avoid him for, oh, ever, Finn lands in the center of her senior project team. Seriously—how hard is it to shake a guy? At least her work on the project snagged the attention of the (second) hottest guy in school. He might only be into her because of her famous stepmom, and he’s not quite as exciting as a certain annoying housemate, but at least she’s allowed to crush on the guy.
Because crushing on your annoying stepbrother? So not cool.

This Entangled Teen Crush book contains an unbelievably hot bad boy, an unbelievably famous actress, and all the drama that comes with adding both to your family. Oh, and a forbidden flirtation with a soon-to-be stepbrother.

REVIEW
** I received an ARC copy through NetGalley in exchange of an honest review **

How Willa Got Her Groove Back it's the second book in the Creative HeArts series, PLUS it's the first book in Willa and Finn Trilogy. And of course, it's written by Emily McKay. First book I read by her and let me tell you that it's really good, not one of my favorites but a good one. Emily's writing is something pretty amazing, it made me read all this story from beginning to end without stop! I haven't read the first book in Creative HeArts series, but there's a few spoilers, mostly because they're named in this book, anyway, I'll read the first one to have a better idea.

How Willa Got Her Groove Back tells us about how Willa's life change when her father comes home and tells her that he's engaged with none other than one of the most famous actresses in the world, yep, she'll have a really famous woman as stepmother. And here's when a really hot boy enters to her life.

Finn is her soon-to-be-stepmom’s son, a person that Willa just want to ignore for ever —after their first encounter, what she thought about him change in not a too good way. Now, she sees herself trying to put some sense into her father, even when she’s had told him —for a long time— that it was time for him to get a girlfriend —or at least move on— after her mother’s death, but that’s not how she imagined that it would happened. The love she has for her father makes this engagement-fact hard for her, the whole situation doesn’t help her fears —she’s worried about her father’s heart if this doesn’t end in a good way. Plus, Finn trying to convince her that the wedding is a good thing, doesn’t help much —and he being her classmate makes it worse.

BUT, Finn has his own little fears, during all his life he has seen her mother getting a broken heart due to her easy way to fall for men —not too easy but yes—, and due to her fame being a magnet for stupid men. Now with her last engagement, those fears don’t get better.

Whatever, the chemistry between both characters makes this book a wonderful read, Willa's way to says and expresses what she thinks is AMAZING, I mean, it made me laugh, that girl has a personality I envy with all my heart —maybe more like a just a few things. I confess, there were moment I didn’t like about, but it doesn’t lower my like for it.

AND, I didn't like the end of this book! But it's because this is just the first book in their story, ISN'T A STANDALONE, and there’s nowhere where I would had known. So yeah you'll have to wait for the second book —just as me. Also, it has dual POV, so once in a while we can read Finn thoughts and concerns.

A book with a lot of humor, drama, romance, and acceptation. An enjoyable reading that you should read if you like a good Young Adult story. Or even if you like to read stories with a good plot. I'm looking forward for the second book, and of course, to know more about Finn. The forbidden romance between both characters was an addition that made this book better.

Book: +4.0

Riggs
Heart.
It’s what keeps you from being reckless. It’s what keeps you breathing.
Money, power and respect… they were my god given right, not the reason I joined the Satan’s Knights. I tied myself to my club and nothing else. Give me my bike, the open road and a different woman every night and I was happy.
My life was great.
Until the chaos exploded.
One night.
One reckless temptation and I finally found my reason for breathing.
I never saw her coming. The girl that would turn my world upside down and give me my heart.
Only it was too late.
One mistake can take it all away.
I’m about to lose my heart.
The thing that keeps me breathing.
The thing that keeps me from being reckless.

Too bad it’s him.
We’ll never work, but, I can pretend can’t I?

The Pink Pussycat

More Bianci bullshit was headed my way.

“Maria thinks Lauren is an intern at a hospital, a requirement for her nursing degree. The is, she kind of quit the program,” Mia continued.

I lifted an eyebrow. “Mama Leone” was going to blow a gasket.

“So if she’s not playing Florence Nightingale, where is she?” I questioned.

Silence.

Fuck my life. I stalked toward Mia, watching as she raised an eyebrow and walked backwards until her back slammed against the door.

“Ouch,” she muttered.

I narrowed my eyes, bracing one hand flat against the door over her head and leaned close to her.

“Where is she?” I repeated.

“She’s working at a bar in town, near campus,” she said, stepping around me to walk toward her desk. She ripped a piece of paper off a pad and scribbling something on it. “Here’s the address. She’s not answering the phone so you need to go get her before Maria starts asking questions.”

“You’re kidding right?” Does the leather and tattoos not scare anyone anymore these days? These people are walking all over me like I’m some kind of jerk off.

“I don’t even know what she looks like,” I grunted, staring down at the scribbled address, wondering what kind of bar the Pink Pussycat was and what the fuck I did in life to deserve this shit.

Mia looked at me for a moment before turning around and grabbing a picture frame off her dresser. She held up the framed photo of her and what I assumed was Lauren. I dropped my eyes to the picture of the two girls, my eyes zeroing in on Lauren.

Big crystal blue eyes, framed by thick black-rimmed glasses, stared back at me. She had a killer smile, perfectly straight, white teeth, framed by full pink lips and a cute tongue since she was sticking it out the side of her mouth. Her black hair framed her face in waves, a stark contrast to her bright blue eyes. She was pretty, hot even, if you’re into the girl next door type. Or nurses. I wouldn’t mind being her patient.

I lifted my eyes back to Mia’s and handed her back her photograph before turning around and pulling open the door.

“Are you going to go get her?” Mia called over my shoulder. I ignored her and brushed past Maria who was scowling at me from the bathroom door.

“Got lost on your way to the john?” She asked, crossing her arms and tapping her foot impatiently.

“No, when you wouldn’t hold my dick for me I thought I’d test my luck with your daughter’s roommate,” I smiled, glancing over my shoulder at Mia. “Thanks, babe,” I winked.

“What? No! I didn’t…” Mia stammered.

These Bianci people were a pain in my ass but they sure were fun to fuck with.

I turned around and shoved my finger in front of Maria’s nose.

“I’ll be back. Don’t. Fucking. Move.”

“Where are you going?”

“To pick up your damn daughter, because someone upstairs…” I pointed my index finger to the ceiling, “…wants to keep fucking testing my patience with you people.”

It was her turn to shove her accusing finger in my face.

“You’re going to the hospital to pick her up? Just…don’t talk to anyone. I’m warning you, you better behave yourself and not embarrass her. Lauren has worked very hard to get where she is and the last thing she needs is some scoundrel like you, messing things up for her with your crude mouth and poor manners,” she said.

Was this bitch serious?

“I’ll try not to piss on the floors of the hospital and promise not to pick my nose in front of any hotshot doctors,” I sneered, shaking my head in disgust.

She should only know how deep my manners go.

I stalked out of the apartment, slamming the door behind me and glanced at the address Mia had given me. Fucking bullshit.

I typed the address into the GPS of the cage I was driving because I was in the middle of Bumblefuck New York, full of winding roads and fucking deer. I was waiting for that to happen next because why not add killing Bambi to this wretched night.

I whimpered as I drove, feeling sorry for myself and slammed my hand against the steering wheel.

I just wanted my bike and the open road.

And maybe a blowjob.

That would be nice.

Lauren’s pretty, pink lips, wrapped nice and tight around my dick and those blue eyes peeking up at me over the frames of her glasses. Shit. Where the fuck did that come from?

Get your shit together, Riggs.

“You’ve arrived at your destination,” the GPS alerted, and I’m not going to lie, she sounded hot too.

I needed to get laid.

Or I needed to go to bed.

Something. Anything.

The Pink Pussycat was packed, people stood in line waiting to get inside even at three a.m., apparently making it a happening joint for the people of Bumblefuck. I moved to the front of the line and a big brut of a guy stood there, staring down at me.

“Line’s back there,” the beast said.

“That’s nice, move aside,” I replied, stepping around him but he took mimicked my move and blocked me again.

I glanced at the heavens.

“Why?” I shouted into the dark sky.

No one answered.

Pussy.

Shit, I was probably going to hell for that one.

I looked back at the beast of a bouncer who raised an eyebrow at me, and was tempted to tell him he looked like Michael Clarke Duncan, but I needed to focus. I took a deep breath and opened my cut for him to see the gun I had tucked into my waistband.

“Listen, bud, I’ve had the night from hell and I’m ten seconds away from losing it, so move the fuck out of my way and let me do what the fuck I came here to do,” I growled, reaching for the gun.

He crossed his arms, glanced at my gun, and shook his head completely unfazed.

“Pretty please, with sugar on top?” I tried. Nothing. “Fuck! The name “Tony Soprano” mean anything to you? Shit, I mean, fuck, what’s his name…Pastore.” the burley bouncer remained unmoved. That’s it. I can’t take anymore. “Bro, get the fuck out of my way, seriously, I have to get one of the girls that works here, I’m her ride.”

“Who?”

“Lauren Bianci,” I huffed. That fucking last name was nothing but trouble.

“Shit, man, why didn’t you say so?” He pounded me on the back and smiled. “Lauren’s my girl, love that chick, always makes me smile,” he said, with an actual smile. “Go on in. She’s working the bar tonight.”

I think I muttered a thank you, I’m not sure, but I brushed past him and stepped foot into the loud bar that was packed beyond capacity. It took me five minutes, pushing my way through the crowd toward the bar that was surrounded mostly by men that were hooting and hollering.

What was the big fuss?

I squeezed my way between two jocks screaming for their turn to be next and caught a glimpse of what had every guy in this joint begging to be next.

The girl next door was on her knees, crawling the length of the bar, from one lucky bastard to another. She poured the liquor straight from the bottle into some lucky bastard’s mouth.

“Marry me!” He shouted, and she threw her head back and laughed.

“Oh baby, I’m not the marrying kind,” she said, blowing him a kiss before she rose to her feet and gave me a full view of her outfit. I started with the shoes that stomped across the bar, fucking sexy as hell. I’d make her keep them on when she wrapped her legs around me and wouldn’t even mind those five-inch heels digging into my back. She was a tiny thing, maybe five foot two, if that, but those heels made her killer legs seem so long. Or maybe it was the short plaid skirt that gave every man at the bar a peep show. Her waist was tiny and her stomach flat, but her rack? Man, what I wouldn’t do to shove my face in her tits. Her shirt knotted under her breasts and was open for all to see the black lace bra she was wearing. I squinted, hoping to catch a little peak of her nips but she was moving all over the place, dancing up a storm as she flirted and poured liquor into all the open mouths, waiting for a taste.

Lauren Bianci, the girl next door, rocked the naughty, school girl bit like no one’s business.

“What’s the matter handsome? Why so serious?” She asked. Her big blue eyes, framed by those damn glasses, staring straight into mine. Every fucking thing went south, whatever common sense I had left, all my blood, it all went straight to my dick. She smiled wide, bending down and pulled my hat from my head before she ran her fingers through my messy hair and yanked my head back. “Open up,” she demanded against my ear.

I looked into those eyes and was fucking lost. She could’ve demanded I run around the bar naked, barking like a dog and I would’ve done it. So I opened my mouth and let her poor the cinnamon flavored whiskey down my throat.

My dick was rock-fucking-hard.

Down boy!

She pulled the bottle away and swiped her thumb across my lips.

“Good boy,” she cheered, as she was about to turn her attention to the man beside me but I grabbed her wrist. Something changed in her eyes and she glanced around the bar, my guess in search of a bouncer. She probably thought I was just another schmuck that wanted to take her into a bathroom stall. I kind of did.

I leaned closer, hypnotized by her perfume and sniffed her.

“Show’s over Lauren. Grab your things it’s time to go,” I said against her ear.

She tried to pull her wrist from my hand but my grip tightened and I turned my head a fraction to stare into those blue orbs again. Shit, they were pretty.

“How do you know my name?”
