Review: LOVE, CHLOE by Alessandra Torre

Chloe Madison. That's me. A former NYU princess who fell from grace, right off my pampered Manhattan throne and onto the unforgiving steps of Nicole Brantley, socialite and queen bitch. Now, I walked her dog and mixed her smoothies. Tried to navigate my own problems while fixing all of hers.

I wanted what every New York girl did. A career, an apartment, and true love, preferably in a smoking hot package.

It turned out ... I'd have to fight for all of it.

REVIEW
** ARC provided by the author in exchange of an honest review **

LOVE, CHLOE is a standalone contemporary romance, written by Alessandra Torre. My first book by her, and I liked it. Most of the time I was smiling because it has lots of good moments.

When Chloe's parents lost everything for fraud. From one day to the next her life changes drastically. Now, after her parents let her on her own due to their ilegal activities, she has to find a place to live, but the most important... a job to pay her tuition so she can finally get her diploma.

I think this book was more like a journal, in some way, of course it is nothing like a journal, but it kind of was, because along the story we see how Chloe confronts her new life; how, now, she has to worry about things she had never had to worry before! So, at the end, this was a journal. Anyway, why I really liked was how, along the book, she grown up. At first, I didn't love her character, maybe because I didn't see anything in her that I found reasonable, but then while the book moved forward I couldn't stop wanting to know more about her life, and the way she learns about her errors, just make it better.

Chloe's loves life is present, but I didn't think it was the main plot. And one of the reasons I think so, is because we don't know who's the guy until almost the middle of the book, or it was before, I don't remember the exact part but her loves life, for me, just was a plus in the story. Then when I finally knew Carter was "the boy" I couldn't stop myself from loving him. His character is a good. Sexy. Cute. Sexy. Guy.

As a conclusion I can say that the creative way in which Alessandra uses photos while she tells Chloe's story is really really good, and it just made me want read it more. This story is a sweet, funny, sexy and different from whatever I've read before. I simply loved. And highly recommend.
